BrewDog Hobo Pop (4.2%)

Hobo PopPart of BrewDog’s Prototype range, Hobo Pop is a wheat beer that’s nice to drink, hop heavy, and doesn’t really taste anything like a wheat beer.
It pours a chestnut brown and the smell is salted toffee and flowerbeds.
The malting is very reminiscent of BrewDog’s Hardcore IPA, thick toffee, bran flakes and black pepper, and the hops are sharp and bitter, grapefruit skins, peaches, passion fruit, lime leaves and lemon pips.
The result of all this is that Hobo Pop (stupid name) is a very nice beer but has absolutely nothing of the flavours you might be looking for when you fancy a wheat beer.
