Connor’s Chocolate Orange Imperial Stout (9.3%)

Chocolate Orange Imperial StoutFrom now on if all Home Brewers could send me Imperial Stout made with cocoa nibs and fresh orange peel I’d be very grateful.
This is astonishing.
This is Home Brew?
Pouring a deep dense black, the smell is a big sensuous chocolate, coffee, rum and fruit compote delight.
There’s a chest warming brandy heat permeating this beer, but it doesn’t burn, instead it ramps up the intensity of the beer, making everything big and round and delicious.
This little bottle of Stout is like eating Terry’s Chocolate Orange while swigging rum and washing it down with a shot of good espresso.
What a super beer.
This is Home Brew.

Thanks to Connor Murphy (@likethemurphys) for sending me a bottle.
