Urban IPA, this bottle at least, is far too gassy.
It’s got that over-carbonation you sometimes find in a “Real Ale”.
You know what I mean.
A bit of a gusher when pouring that adds a yeasty background fart that lingers throughout the beer.
There’s a decent toffee and biscuit malt, nothing extraordinary, but not too shabby, and there are some good bitter hops that try very hard to be full of citrus sting and juicy goodness.
But the yeasty fart is all pervading, it’s a dictator, an unstoppable invader, and it spoiled this beer.
