Alechemy Brewing Co. Rye O’ Rye (5.6%)

Rye O RyeRye O’ Rye is a terrific little beer that pours a lovely chestnut red and smells of fruity varnished redwood.
The malting is earthy and round, chewy with treacle and ever so slightly leathery in the nicest possible way.
There’s spiced red fruit pie hiding in the background too, all rich with brown sugary and crumbly pastry.
And there are hops.
Lots of green herbs, lime leaves, mango and marmalade and lemon pips.
And with a super long dry bitter finish, I’ll have a barrel of this and a straw please.
