This is a Golden Ale.
A Golden Ale with a name that is North Yorkshire dialect for a hedgehog.
Surely it’s quicker to say hedgehog.
And so in the interest of brevity I’ll be really brief.
This is a Golden Ale that does what Golden Ales do.
It smells of straw and honey, there’s a soft caramel and shortbread body and a lightly bitter prickly hop.
And that’s about it.
It’s drinkable but uninspiring.
It’s a Golden Ale.
A Golden Ale called Hedgehog.
