Now this is a bit of alright.
My second beer from Wiper & True and my second beaming smile as a a result.
Brewed with Citra and Rye, this Amber Ale’s smell is all lemon curd and Ryvita.
There’s a lovely big gloopy malt that’s chewy with toffee, round and meaty with rye bread and sticky with honey.
The Citra combines with Magnum hops to dance across this beer’s big fat yummy body with slashes of lemon rind, pips and juice, passion fruit and watermelon, grapefruit and some green apple skins.
The finish is long and sharp, bitter and dry but seductively sweet around the edges.
Yup, this is a bit of alright.
