This is a decent burned toast and honey heavy Stout with a biscuit and prune smell that sits a good purple brown in my glass.
There’s lots of chocolate and coffee in here, lots of toast, lots of biscuits.
Just lots of stuff.
And all of it good.
Like lots of crispy, crunchy red leafy hops.
And all of that lot is great.
But Brampton Stout feels a little bit thin to me.
Not thin enough to spoil it, just I’d like to be able to say that it’s thick and mouth filling and sumptuous.
Still, I like it.
Lots.
