Saugatuck Brewing Co. Neapolitan Milk Stout (6%)

Neapolitan Milk StoutThis is a naughty beer.
A dirty beer.
And why?
Because it’s brewed with natural and artificial flavours.
Even so I love it.
Love it and hate myself for it.
You see, this is a Milk Stout that tastes like Neapolitan ice cream.
You can taste the vanilla, the chocolate and the strawberry along with the biscuity rum malt, the hit of coffee and the crunchy brown resinous leaves of the hops.
There’s a good alcohol warmth too, and some decent stewed fruit, but it’s the naughty Neapolitan additives that gently caress you, remind you of childhood treats in the days before you knew or cared what E numbers could do, that makes me want to drink this again and again.
