I really like the packaging of this beer with its faux 1950’s two colour Americana label, but as for the beer, it’s pretty uninspiring.
In fact you could take the first word from its name for a much more accurate description, Ordinary Pale Ale.
There’s a straw, biscuit and corn aroma, the malts are dull, dry and biscuity, with a little bit of caramel and the hops are almost impossible to find save for the merest leafiness.
In fact the more of this I drink the less I like it.
Very ordinary.
Lovely label though.
