02|09 is a Golden Ale brewed with Summit and Nugget hops and it’s a big juicy delight.
It sits in my glass a very appetising orange marmalade colour and smells of peaches and hibiscus and passion flowers.
The malts are shortcake and caramel, honey and white bread crusts, and there’s a slosh of apple juice and a little bit of hay bale around the edges.
Over this the hops are packed with juicy fresh fruit pulp, mango and grapefruit, kiwi and green grapes.
02|09 is a fresh beer, a chewy beer, a beer with a round bitter sweet finish.
It’s another winner from Brew By Numbers.
