Hillside Brewery Pinnacle (3.8%)

PinnacleOnly 3.8% ABV but packed with flavour, this is a very good Pale Ale indeed.
Soft caramel wafer and shortbread biscuit malts flecked with white pepper, and a smell that’s pencil shavings, strawberries and apples.
The blend of Pilgrim and Bramling Cross hops make for a dry grassy, woody and resinous lip smacking dryness, lots of green herbal foliage and a good twist of lemon.
Pinnacle is crisp, clean and superbly dry in the finish.
Very good indeed.
