Steel City Brewing Communication Breakdown (5%)

Communication BreakdownI’ve been wanting to try Steel City’s beers for a long time and I have to say it’s been worth the wait, though in my excitement I poured like a complete amateur and created a pint of golden soup in my glass.
Communication Breakdown smells of fresh fruit salad, melon and peaches and all sorts of good things.
There’s a light French bread crust malt, a lick of honey and an earthy pepper tang from the yeast, and over this the hops build slowly but surely form a gentle green fresh herbal kiss to a big lime juice and kiwi fruit slap from a beer soaked beauty wearing lychee earrings and sporting the latest in mandarin skin catsuits.
Yes, Communication Breakdown is one of those beers.
A beer that starts off all innocent and straight forward but eventually gets you thinking all sorts of weirdness.
Ace.
