Moylan’s Brewing Co. Dragoons Dry Irish Style Stout (5%)

Dragoons Dry Irish Style StoutThis is the kind of Stout that I could drink all the time.
The kind of Stout that’s rich and warm and comforting yet ever so easy to drink.
The aroma is stewed red fruit, coffee and toast, and that’s where the main body of flavour lies too.
And maybe you could argue that that is nothing new, nothing special, just what Stouts do.
And you’d be right.
But it’s the balance here that is superb, the dry crusty burned toast, the deep dark espresso, the rich treacle, the boozy brandy rich red fruit and the garden herbs and hedgerow sharpness of the British hops that makes this just that little bit better.
Dragoons is a super Stout.
A Stout to shout about.
