This is my second beer from this brewer and it’s not too shabby.
Not overly exciting maybe but not bad.
Pouring a warm sunny straw, the smell is peaches, apples and hay bales.
The malts are a gentle caramel and fudge wafer biscuits, and there’s a big splash of apple juice sloshing around in the background.
The hops are sharp and green, hedgerow, nettles and hazel leaves, and the finish is bitter sweet, beginning with a pleasant creaminess that turns dry and lingering.
