Schmankerl is a Bavarian style Wheat Beer and it’s very good indeed.
Pouring with a big fluffy head, the aroma is vanilla and apricots and a light spicy yeast.
You get a metallic tang ad lots of fried banana over shortcake and burned toffee, honey and straw.
There’s a good creamy body that’s almost chewy, it’s mouth filling texture over which the hops are a lemony herbal bouquet, all green and fresh and sharp, prickling away and leaving you with a dry bitter finish.
