Wiper & True Amber Ale – Red Orange (5.1%)

Amber Ale - Red OrangeMore proof, if proof were needed, that Wiper & True are a little bit special.
This Amber Ale smells of thick cut marmalade and sits a glowing and luxurious orange in my glass.
And that is how it should be as, this beer is brewed with fresh orange zest.
There’s a rich sweet toasty malt, it’s all fresh bread crusts, runny honey and a little melted butter at the edges.
The hops are big and stingingly sharp, lemon and passion fruit, candied peel and mandarin flesh.
Across all of this the fresh orange zest prickles and tickles, tingling on your tongue with its lovely bright tang.
The sum of all this is a gorgeous beer with a round chewy malt body and an amazingly sharp clean finish.
