Anspach & Hobday The IPA (6%)

The IPAAnother beautifully presented beer from Anspach & Hobday, I do love their branding.
And this is a very good IPA that pours a light copper colour with a big bubbly head and smells of oranges and walnuts.
There are oranges in the flavour too, full and rich and zesty, they sit Stalin-like (to misquote Eddie Izzard) on top of the lovely fudge and shortcake, toffee and flaky pastry of the malts, and refuse to move.
The orangey presence is almost all consuming, but is pulled back from the brink by lots of sherbet zing, lime zest, peach and passion fruit.
The finish is super dry, bitter and seemingly endless.
Oh, and orangey.
Very orangey.
