Epic Brewing Co. Rio’s Rompin’ Rye Beer (5.6%)

Rio's Rompin' Rye BeerWith a sweet, sticky malt loaf smell, Epic’s rye beer is a rich, round and very satisfying drink.
The malting is big and gloopy, masses of treacle with a pinch of salt, a meaty chewiness from the rye and a touch of linseed and liquorice.
There are hops too, heavy with pine resin, redwood bark and lots of dry crunchy leaves.
But this beer is all about its malts, mouth filling, cotton candy sweet, Daim bar malts.
I like this very much indeed.
