Inveralmond Brewery Sunburst (4.8%)

SunburstThe first in Inveralmond’s Inspiration Series, Sunburst is a Pilsner, and a very good Pilsner at that.
Pouring a light straw, the aroma is honeysuckle and spices, there’s a soft caramel and French bread malt, lots of sparky white pepper, runny honey and hay bales.
Over this the hops are zingy green spicy herbs, sharp and bitter with a lemon juice edge and a little apple juice in the background.
And with a crisp yet creamy finish, this is a lovely little beer.
