This pale straw beer is easy drinking if a little unexciting.
The aroma is garden flowers, honey and hay, and the malting is lightly baked biscuits, caramel and a hint of burned sugar at the edges.
The hops are sharp green leaves, grass clippings and a splash of lemon.
Long Blonde slipped down rather easily with its dry crisp bitter finish and is a drink I’d happily have a session with if it was on the bar, but not one I’d go out of my way to hunt out again.
