Brentwood Brewing Co. Chockwork Orange (6.5%)

Chockwork OrangeOh, now I like this.
Chockwork Orange is a big bold Strong Ale that reminds me that Winter’s on its way.
The aroma is malt loaf soaked in rum, and the beer is a lovely deep purple colour.
This is a ,malt heavy beer packed with coffee and brandy, honey and treacle tart.
There’s red fruit compote too, and woody walnuts before the hops come crashing in with red wood resin, crunchy leaves and a nettle sting sharpness.
And humming away in the background is a rich, round and zesty orange.
Juicy and fresh, is adds a delicious extra layer to this already super beer.
