Cotswold Spring Brewing Co. OSM (3.9%)

OSMMild.
A middle of the road beer.
An unexciting beer.
Usually.
But OSM is a little different.
It holds your attention.
There’s a woodines, dry and nutty, walnuts and Brazilnuts to be accurate.
And there’s chocolate and a dab of honey.
The merest hint of hops adds a subtle nettle tea and bramble leaf sharpness, and the finish is long and bitter and dry with crumbly digestive biscuits at its edge.
A Mild then.
A mild that’s anything but meek.
