Green Flash Brewing Co. Imperial IPA (9%)

Imperial IPAThis beer is a monster.
A mad man.
9% of tongue scouring, brain melting hop craziness presented in a full pint serving.
The aroma is a nostril hair singeing pineapple and orange rind attack and the malting is super sticky with gloopy toffee, crunchy wafers and burned demerara sugar syrup.
There’s an alcohol heat that ramps up all the flavours, burns them into your synapses and withers your defences as the hops attack.
Summit and Nugget in ridiculous amounts hit you with sharpened varnished pine cones, dquirt you in the eyes with lime and mandarin zest, and generally slash at your face with with the sharp end of an apricot.
This is a serious beer.
A ridiculous beer.
I love it.
