Pressure Drop Brewery Street Porter (6.5%)

Street PorterSo far Pressure Drop appear to have not put a foot wrong.
All their beer is presented beautifully, and more importantly tastes fabulous, and Street Porter is yet another brilliant beer from this little East London brewery.
Pouring a deep rich purple brown, the smell is chocolate coated prunes stewed in coffee.
Taking a big swig you get lots of dry bitter dark chocolate, espresso and plums in rum.
The hops are crunchy and red, crisp leafy autumnal and warm, all lemon rind and woodland walks, conkers in a leather satchel, basil, dill and dandelion and burdock.
That’s quite a mouthful, and with its sticky bitter finish Janet would be very pleased.
Street Porter is an absolute treat.
