Of all the Redchurch beer that I’ve tried, this is my favourite by a country mile.
It’s big and warm and bold, packed with croissants and honey, hay bales and shredded wheat, an earthy yeast mist hovering around in the background and now and then popping on your tongue with a white pepper spiciness.
The hops are sharp and bitter and herbal, full of hazel and lime leaves, they lead you to a finish that’s sweet and gooey and warmed through with white rum.
Oh, and before I forget, the beer is a very fetching orange with a big fluffy white head.
Very nice.
