Brodie’s Brewery Bish’s APA (5%)

Bish's APABrewed in collaboration with Cotteridge Wines, it’s lucky that this is a lovely little American Pale Ale or I may be losing friends.
Bish’s APA pours a light gold with a nose-full of pineapple and passion flowers.
The malts are all runny honey and caramel wafers which are just big enough to provide a solid body on which the hops can do their thing.
And boy do they do their thing.
They’re fresh and zippy, with loads of tingly lime zest, lemon pith and grapefruit flesh.
And that’s not all, you get a zap of fizzy sherbet before the long, dry, crisp and immensely bitter finish.
Bish’s APA is very good indeed.
Phew.
