Fourpure Brewing Co. American Brown (5.3%)

American BrownAmerican Brown is one of Fourpure’s seasonal beers and though it may not be one of their best – certainly not up there with their Pils or IPA – it’s still a little can of goodness.
The aroma is roast nuts and honey and the beer sits a deep brown in my glass.
There’s a very nice sweet chestnut, chocolate and toffee malt, and the hops are equally sharp and woody, full of lemon rind and pine resin, grapefruit and garden gates.
The finish is bitter sweet, dry and crisp.
All in all this is pretty good.
