Finally, a Pressure Drop beer I’m not overly keen on.
In a way I’m glad as I was beginning to think I might eventually explode from fawning over everything Pressure Drop brew.
To be honest, Freimann’s Dunkelweiss starts very well, with an amazing smoky chocolate pancake aroma.
There’s a creaminess to the the body that bulks up the beer as your mouth is filled with damsons and espresso, chocolate and honey.
But there’s a rather unpleasant, almost sour aftertaste that really spoils the finish.
What a relief.
