Alechemy Talisman (4.1%)

TalismanAccording to its label Talisman is a “Refreshing Lager” and it’s right on both counts.
It’s refreshing.
And it’s a lagered beer (or appears to be says Mr. Cynical who lives in the back of my brain).
There’s a very nice peach and honeysuckle aroma to this pale golden beer, and the malts are soft and sweet, all toffee apples and Rich Tea biscuits.
The hops are sharp and snappy, spiced lemon rind and a bunch of fresh green herbs that take you to a long crisp and delightfully bitter finish.
What a refreshing little lager this is.
