Arbor Ales Smokescreen (5.5%)

SmokescreenWith its lovely smoky chocolate and coffee aroma, you know Smokescreen is going to be good from the moment that you take a sniff.
This is a plump and juicy blackberry and prune bodied beer that’s packed with black coffee, walnuts, burned toast and forest fruit jam.
There’s a sharp stinging nettle and bracken hop too, which provides a much needed fresh herbal snap.
And all of this is made thick and rich by the smokiness that floats around the periphery, hinting at bacon and bonfires, marmite and plum compote.
Smokescreen is delicious.
