Dark Star Brewing Co. Sunburst (4.8%)

SunburstI really thought I’d written about this beer before.
I’ve certainly drunk it before.
But I can’t find any mention of it, so I may as well put that right.
Sunburst is a Golden Ale.
A really well made Golden Ale.
Sitting Pale and sparkly in my glass, the smell is strawberries and honey.
The malting is hay bales and honey and caramel wafers, and the hops a full of grapefruit and passionfruit wrapped up in hedgerow leaves.
There’s a long crisply bitter finish too, that puts this head and shoulders above so many other beers of this style.
