Beer in a tin.
Pouring an impenetrable black, the smell of this delicious Stout is chocolate and vanilla and stewed red fruit.
The malting is big and bold, round and mouth filling, all toffee apples and bran biscuits, cherries brown sugar and liquorice root.
There’s a very good autumnal hop too, with lots of maple syrup coated lime leaves, lemon zest and a big fat bouquet of fresh green herbs.
To top it all off, Stenner Creek’s finish is bright and fresh with coffee, chocolate and basil leaves.
Very good indeed.
