Orbit Beers Leaf (6.2%)

LeafLeaf is a Rauch Alt and it’s very very good.
Pouring a deep chestnut brown, the aroma is toffee apples, bonfires and red peppers.
As you take a swig you get an immediate hit of salty smoked bacon, and this is quickly followed by sticky sweet molasses and ginger biscuits.
There’s a crunchy spicy hop too.
It starts with brittle red leaf litter and moves into a fistful of green herbs, lemon zest and juicy mango at the edges.
The finish is rich and smoky, round, chewy and very more-ish indeed.
Lovely stuff.
