Tiny Rebel Brewing Co. FUBAR (4.4%)

FUBARI’m really rather surprised that I’ve not reviewed this bottle of beer before, but it seems that I haven’t and so here I go.
FUBAR is, if I recall correctly, is a military acronym for something that’s, how do I put it delicately, become a bit of a mess.
Which makes it an odd choice of name for a pretty straightforward Pale Ale, albeit an eminently drinkable Pale Ale.
Pouring a sunny gold, the aroma is full of passion flowers and nectarines.
The malting is caramel and ice cream cones and runny honey and the hops are bright and sparkly with tangerine skins and bouquet garni.
And with a finish that’s long and bitter and dry, I’d argue that this little beer is anything but FUBAR.
