This little beer smells really good, all runny honey and sunshine.
The malting is squidgy toffee, brioche and Victoria sponge cake mix, and rumbling away underneath the Belgian yeast adds an extra earthy spiciness to the mix.
The hopping could perhaps be a little more forceful, but that’s a very minor gripe as there’s enough of a bitter, dry and crisp lemon rind and hedgerow bite to add a decent edge to this rather nice little Blonde beer.
