The Five Points Brewing Co. London Smoke (7.8%)

Londond SmokePouring a deep inky black, the aroma of London Smoke is wood fires and tea chests and damsons.
The malts are sticky treacle tart and blackcurrants, wholemeal toast and stewed plums.
There’s a good hop presence too, it’s all piles of crunchy crisp leaves, the kind you kicked on your way home after searching for conkers, and there’s a mouthful of fresh homemade lemonade too.
And wafting around  all over the beer there’s a soft smokiness that adds a gentle yet rich bonfire night mist and makes for  long, earthy and very satisfying finish.
Brilliant.
