Weird Beard Brew Co. & Brodies Beer Weird BROdMANCE (10%)

Weird BROdMANCETwo breweries I like very much getting together to make a beer with a great name.
And what a beer it is.
This is a heavy weight Stout brewed with lactose and maple syrup, an Imperial Milk Stout if you like, and the label says that it’s been put into a big bottle so that it can be shared.
Share?
No chance.
This is mine.
The aroma is stewed red fruit and whisky and the beer sits a sexy black in my glass.
The malts are super hefty, packed with burned toast and espresso, honey and sawdust, and there’s a good twiggy hop snap too, with plenty of hazel and hedgerow greenery to freshen you up.
BROdMANCE feels soft and velvety in your mouth and the maple syrup adds a delicious salty sweetness to the warm boozy finish.
You’d hate yourself if you decided to share.
As I said, this romance is all mine.
