Yeastie Boys Golden Perch (4.4%)

Golden PerchGolden Ale?
This?
Well, it’s golden in my glass but that’s where any resemblance to what you might think makes a Golden Ale ends.
The aroma is fresh melon and mango, and I mean fresh.
There’s a good hay bale, shortcake and honey malt, some white pepper and a touch of peanut butter, and then there are hops.
Super zingy lime and kiwi, mango, grapefruit, tobacco and peach all kissing my face while teasing me with resinous woodland leaves that lead me to a sharp bitter finish.
I want every Golden Ale to taste more like this.
Brilliant.
