I won’t say I told you so as I think I’ve already said it a few times before, but I told you so.
Bad Seed are a super little brewery and this is a super little single hop Pale Ale.
It smells fresh and juicy, full of nectarines and grapefruit, and sits a bright gold in my glass.
The beer tastes fresh and juicy too, with a malt bill that gives you sticky caramel wafers, honey and shortcake, and a pile of Cascade hops that are punchy and pin sharp with lemon zest and grapefruit, a dab of pine resin and a load of peach fuzz.
The finish is long and bitter and dry and I still love the way the bottle are labelled.
