Bear Hug Brewing Spirit Pale Ale (4.2%)

Spirit Pale AlePouring an attractive pale gold, Spirit looks good in my glass even if it doesn’t smell of much save for a super light honeysuckle and straw.
Don’t let that put you off though, as this is a good easy drinking Pale Ale that may not challenge you but is crisp and refreshing with a soft caramel and crusty bread malt and a sharp fresh and bitter hazel, hedgerow and peach hopping that leads you to a good dry finish.
There’s not a great deal to say about Bear Hug’s Spirit except that it’d make a decent session beer.
