I’ve not been a huge fan of Partizan’s Saisons but this one is good.
Pouring a pale straw with a big frothy head, the aroma is bread dough and garden flowers.
There’s a soft subtle caramel and brown bread malt and some salty earthy spice from the yeast.
You also find a very pleasant green tea, basil and thyme form the hops, all fresh and piquant and snappy.
But the lemongrass is the star here.
It’s fragrant, perfumed, floral, and it pops on your tongue with soft lemon, chive and rose petals which lasts long after your last mouthful has gone.
