To Øl Sur Amarillo (7.5%)

Sur AmarilloOh man, that’s tart.
A Sour Pale Ale brewed with masses of Amarillo hops, this is a tongue twisting, eye crossing, brain tingling joy of a beer.
Pouring a rich amber, the aroma is grapefruit juice, pure and simple.
Fresh juicy grapefruit.
There’s no real point in talking about hops and malt as everything gangs up to hit you full in the face with honey and limes, grapefruit, silage, lemon zest and hay bales, wafers, mown lawns and spicy bread dough.
The finish is long and super sharp, bitter, crisp and immensely dry.
And rather frighteningly you don’t feel the alcohol at all.
Wonderful stuff.
