Considering its price, this is nothing to write home about.
There’s a lot of tamarind and peanut, toffee and redwood in here, and you find a decent aniseed and hazel leaf hedgerow thing too.
But the aroma is a bit unpleasant, all caramel and flowerbeds, but with a sickly metallic tinge.
And so, especially considering how expensive this is in the UK, you’re far better off buying a bottle of Fullers’ ESB and keeping the best part of ten quid in your pocket for something better.
