Moor Brewing Co. Dark Alliance (4.7%)

Dark Alliance - 1Originally brewed in collaboration with the wonderful Arbor Ales and The Clifton Coffee Company, Dark Alliance is a hoppy Coffee Stout and it’s an absolute delight.
Pouring a deep dark purple brown, the aroma is prunes and chocolate and black coffee.
There’s a lovely gloopy treacle tart body from the malts, steeped in honey, it’s rich with plums stewed in smoky black coffee.
The hops are nicley bitter, all green metallic herbal leaves, chamomile tea and lemon zest, and they add to the overall punch of the bitter espresso that hits you in the long dry finish.
Lovely.
