Staggeringly Good Beer Veloci Rapture (6.5%)

Veloci Rapture - 1It’s very dangerous to call yourself Staggeringly Good.
You’re potentially leaving yourself open to all sorts of comments.
Fortunately this beer isn’t bad, though it falls a bit short of the brewery’s name.
The aroma is tropical fruit punch and the beer sits a warm gold in my glass.
There’s a good malt body that gives you a solid backbone of honey, candy floss and wafer biscuits, and there’s a face full of hops packed with sticky orange marmalade, green herbal leaves, lime zest, kiwi, grapefruit and mango.
All this makes for a sharp, dry finish that goes on for ages.
Veloci Rapture is very good indeed, but not quite staggering.
