Brewed with lemongrass, lemon peel and ginger, this isn’t as piquant as you might expect, though it’s still a rather good little Saison.
There’s nothing flash here, just a well made beer that does everything you want it to.
A spicy bread dough yeast, sticky toffee brioche and the brittle snap of hazel leaves and hedgerow greenery.
The lemongrass comes through gently and the ginger adds a subtle heat to the edges of a beer that’s already warmed through by the weight of its alcohol.
Very nice indeed.
