Cloudwater Brew Co. Simcoe Hopfen Weisse (6%)

Hefe Weizen - 1This is my introduction to this brewery.
And what an introduction.
With its glorious melon, lime and straw aroma, this beer is just asking to be drunk as it sits in my glass a sunny gold.
There’s a lovely soft fried banana background hum from the yeast while the malts give you caramel and croissants, honey and a crusty baguette.
And then there’s the Simcoe and Citra hops that slap you upside the head with lemons and tangerines, kiwi, apricots and coriander.
And with a finish that’s super long, super dry and, well, simply super, this is one hell of an introduction to a brewery.
