Harviestoun Brewery Broken Dial (4.5%)

Broken Dial - 1With its deep copper colour and malty peach aroma, this is a rather nice little bottle of beer.
There’s a good round chewy malt that’s full of biscuits and toffee apples, honey, burned sugar syrup and shortbread.
And there’s a nice red leaf hop that provides a crunchy hedgerow and hazel pithiness, lots of resinous wood pulp and a bunch of green herbal leaves.
The finish is at once sweet and chewy and long, sharp and bitter.
Yes, Broken Dial is very nice indeed.
