Ilkley Brewery Co. Ilkley Pale (4.2%)

Ilkley Pale - 1What a super little beer this is.
It’s crisp and clean, sharp as a tack, it sits a bright gold in my glass and smells of strawberries, gooseberries and hay bales.
The malts are light and soft, all croissants and caramel, wafers and honey, and the hops – a mix of US and New Zealand varieties – give a bright pithy gooseberry tang, and a lemon kiwi and lime zest zing.
The result is an easy drinking beer with a lovely fresh crisp finish.
