Let’s jump right in.
Apart from the slight thinness in the body right at the end and the subtleness of the aroma, this is a very good beer for its ABV.
Firstly, there are lots of hops – Target, Bramling Cross, Hull Melon (a new one on me) and Columbus – that work together to give a big fizzy sherbet lemon, grapefruit and basil blast.
The malting is decent too, with soft biscuits and a lick of caramel.
In fact this beer has more to enjoy and to keep your interest than a lot of beers twice its size.
Very good indeed.
